The Concrete Garden

Caring for your concrete garden isn't a difficult task at all. There isn't a particular season for planting and any type weather will accomodate your gardening needs.
First you must lose someone you care deeply about. Prior to the planting phase, a ceremonial farewell ritual takes place.
As this garden doesn't require any particular care after planting, make sure you've nurtured, loved, and acquired as many fond memories as possible before depositing your farewell pod into the ground.
On occasion, some gardeners like to visit their particular spot and perform a few maintenance chores - weeding, placing adornments around the area and every now and then you might witness some gardeners talking to their areas were planting occurred. These spots are usually on vastly large pieces of land. But with each passing year most spots eventually become over crowded and new spots have to be chosen.

My high school class members and I buried one of our own today. She was tragically killed in an automobile accident one week ago. She will be deeply missed and our "gang" will never be the same without her.
Death creates such a void in your life, your heart, your soul. In time and because of time, the pain will ease but it never really goes away. We just go about our daily lives acquiring new memories and enjoying what time we have here.
Never take one day for granted. Live each day as if it were your last - no regrets. Live happily, Laugh often and Love unconditionally!

Roschelle a thoughtful article. I live thousands of miles from my loved ones remains. I often wonder if their "garden" is kept neat, attentive, with care. That garden is the link spiritually between us and them and while we can do that anywhere it is there in peace where we can find a more focused connection.
